Chief Peabody comes to the Fire District with over 21 years of experience in the fire service. Chief Peabody served as the Fire Chief for the City of Willows for over 15 years, starting January of 2006. Previously, Chief Peabody served as Interim City Manager for the City of Willows and Engine Captain for Anderson Fire Protection District.

Chief Peabody Educational background includes an associate degree in Fire Science, California Chief Officer certification. In addition, has achieved Fire investigator and Prevention officer.

Chief Peabody and his wife Kate have two Children; Katee and Garrett.
