Fundraisers for the New Building

Valentine's Dance

On February 9th, 2013, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Dpartment will host its annual fundraising dance at the Arcata Community Center.  The event runs from 7:30 pm until 11:00 pm with music provided by Dr. Squid.  A late-night buffet will be provided as well as a no-host bar.

AVFD / Rotary Dinner / Auction

On March 9th, 2013, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Department will be partnering with Arcata Rotary Sunrise for their joint fundraiser.  The event is held annually at the Arcata Community Center.  The event benefits the Arcata Fire Headquarters' Building Fund and Rotary's Community Fund.

4th of July Tri-Tip Sandwiches

During the 4th of July Celebration on the Arcata Plaza, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Department operates a "Tri-Tip Sandwiches" booth as a fundraiser for the new Fire Station. Additionally, free fire engine rides are given in the AVFD 1929 American LaFrance pumper.
