Toys for Tots
Once again, Arcata Fire's Annual Toy Drive for the Marine Corps League's Toys for Tots program has been an amazing success. Through the generous donations from our community, the career and volunteer staff has collected so many toys that we have had to expand our toy storage area to two, of the three stations in our Fire District.
The last day of collection for a new, unwrapped toy is Dec. 18th 2009. Our collection sites are McKinleyville K-mart, Arcata, Mad River, and McKinlleyville fire stations. We would like to thank all who have donated gifts and their time to our program this year and hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday season.
