Fundraisers for the New Building
On February 12, 2011, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Dpartment will host its annual fundraising dance at the Arcata Community Center. The event runs from 7:30 pm until 11:00 pm. Music will be provided by Delta Nationals. Click here for more information.
AVFD / Rotary Dinner / Auction
On March 13, 2010, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Department and Rotary Club of Arcata Sunrise held their annual joint fundraiser. The sell-out event was very well attended.
4th of July Tri-Tip Sandwiches
During the 4th of July Celebration on the Arcata Plaza, the Arcata Volunteer Fire Department operated a "Tri-Tip Sandwiches" booth as a fundraiser for the new Fire Station. Additionally, free fire engine rides were given in the AVFD 1929 American LaFrance pumper. Click here for more information.
